Product description

DP490 epoxy adhesive is a toughned product able to resist in the most extreme conditions. It does not drip, so it is excellent for easy application on vertical surfaces.

3M DP490 is perfect for strong bonds and it results perfectly stable even in case of static and dynamic loads. DP490 is a black two-part epoxy adhesive with filling properties and excellent application features. It is particularly indicated for applications that need the maximum level of force and strenght. This product features also a great resistance to high temperatures (up to 120 °C). It resist optimally to heat and to environmental conditions.

What are the epoxy adhesives? Epoxy adhesives belong to the "structural" adhesive class, which include polyurethane, acrylic, cyanoacrylate and others more. Epoxy adhesive are made as reacitve liquid polymers that undergo a chemical reaction if mixed and then polymerised, creating a solid plastic material. Once mixed int their specific ratio, the two components start the polymerisation process.
