3M 7260 FC B/A is a high performance two-part thoughened epoxy adhesive. This product is highly resistant and features an excellent adhesion to metals and heat stabilised plastic. It requires a minimal surface preparation. It can be used for 8 hours and hardens after 18 hours. Marked by excellent shear and cut resistance and perfect adhesion on metal and thermal surfaces.
What are the epoxy adhesives? Epoxy adhesives belong to the "structural" adhesive class, which include polyurethane, acrylic, cyanoacrylate and others more. Epoxy adhesive are made as reacitve liquid polymers that undergo a chemical reaction if mixed and then polymerised, creating a solid plastic material. Once mixed int their specific ratio, the two components start the polymerisation process.
