3M epoxy adhesive 7240B/A is a product that offers good performance with metals and alloys. It features good resistance to environmetal conditions; it has been tested in a wide range of difficult conditions. It contains 300 μm glass beads for a precise control on the fixing line. It  tested according to the standard FAR25 (vertical flame) and meets the requirement of auto-shut-off in e soddisfa in 15 seconds.

3M 7240 B/A is a thoughened, two-parts epoxy adhesive with 2:1 mixing ratio, time of workability of 45 minutes and time of manipulation of about 6 hours. This product is particularlu resistant and it is used generally for applications in the trasport field.

What are the epoxy adhesives? Epoxy adhesives belong to the "structural" adhesive class, which include polyurethane, acrylic, cyanoacrylate and others more. Epoxy adhesive are made as reacitve liquid polymers that undergo a chemical reaction if mixed and then polymerised, creating a solid plastic material. Once mixed int their specific ratio, the two components start the polymerisation process.
