3M 97153 transfer adhesive tape features a transfer adhesive with reinforced backing in fabric and liner in glassine paper. It has also a permanent acrylic adhesive with good adhesion and fixing. 97153 tape is perfect for application on smooth or lightly rough surfaces. It allows to carry out in the best possible way the following operations:

  • use on foam backing;
  • fixing substrates;
  • reinforcing different structures;
  • give dimensional stability during lamination.

This product offers greater conformability to shaped surfaces than common double coated tapes. Dimensions: 1030mm x 250m, 1530mm x 250m, 2030mm x 250m. Minimum order quantity in rolls: 6

3M 97153 transfer adhesive tape has a reinforced structure in PET and allows to get a greater dimensional stability on foam backings and on other types of materials. 3M 97153 transfer adhesive tape reinforced with cloth has an acrylic adhesive and a liner in glassine paper.

This product is suitable for fixing substrates that need reinforce by means of a comformable backing. 3M 97153 tape is an adhesive with reinforced backing with cloth designed for foam substrates, as PU and EPDM but is suitable also for high surface energy and low surface energy (HSE, LSE) substrates. 

The reinforce with cloth gives dimensional stability durign lamination. Moreover the product allows the adhesive to flow in the cloth to maximize the adhesion of the rough and open-cell surfaces. High quality product guaranteed by 3M.
