We suggest 3M Cubitron II 967A flap disc for the cut speed and his flexible flap structure that allows to mask and to grinder simultaneosly.
Our flap discs contain the ceramic mineral 3M PSG (Precision Shaped Grain), that allows a particularly high cut speed with lower pressure.
This grain continually fractures into sharp pointsthat slice cleanly through metal, unlike traditional abrasives which tend to plow through the substrate.
The grains fracture evenly and continuously expose new sharp edges to keep the disc cutting efficiently.
So the operator can complete sever activities ad weld and edges grinding , rust removal, marks or smudge masking with less fatigue.
The cooling additive activated by the heat makes this disc an excellent product for every type of metal.
This additive allows the disc cooling on stainless steel and on heat-sensitive metals, as nichel and titanium alloys as well as minimizing the risk of burning and oxoidation of the metal and the risk of cracks due to heat stress.
A unic poly cotton backing of Y weight allows a controlled and uniform consumption, without clogging or vitrification to provide a better productivity per disc.
The flap discs are discs for tridimensional grinding with overlapping layers of reinforced flaps that open fanlike from the central core.
As the flap overlapping layers get consumed, they expose new fresh abrasive mineral for a speed and uniform cut, while the flap backing creates an uniform finishing.
In normal condistions our flap discs generate a better finishing than same grain fibre discs.
The overlapping structure make sure that a greater quantity if abrasive materiale gets in contact with the cut surface for far superior performances than usual discs.
That's why our discs improve the productivity so much in the grinding operations.
